Easiest Apple Pie Ever

Last night I was in the mood to bake, but was too lazy to bake something truly fancy. I wanted some pie, but I wanted it to be somewhat good for ya, so I thought..”hey…apples have fiber..apples are fall like…apples are on sale at Sprouts..” So I trotted over, grabbed up some purdy green ones and headed home.
So ready to make a really easy, really delicious pie? Of course you are!
4-6 large apples, peeled,cored,and sliced (peeling is optional)-I always have to because of the hubs.
1/3-1/2 cup brown sugar
1 -2 teaspoon lemon juice or apple juice is nice
2 tbsp Earth Balance
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 pinch nutmeg
2 pinches ginger
1 pinch cloves…(“just a little pinch?”)
3 tablespoons whole wheat flour
1 pie crust


1) Preheat oven to 350.

2)Prepare apples.

3) Throw all of the ingredients into a large bowl and just mix it all around…except the pie crust…don’t mix in the pie crust…unless you really want to..and I am sure that would be a fun casserole like dish!
Now, you can be fancy and put in things like raisins and such…but this is suppose to be fast and simple!
4)Stir continuously until mixture is nice and coated over the apples. You don’t have to be delicate. We’re not taking pictures for magazines here..

5) Pour mixture into the pie crust and bake on 350 for 30 minutes, or until brown.

Plop some cool whip on that bad boy and enjoy!
