LA Philharmonic at the Bowl

After Musso and Frank Grill, we ventured up to the Hollywood Bowl. A modern amphitheater in Hollywood. It is the largest natural amphitheater in the United States, with a seating capacity of nearly 18,000!

The Hollywood Bowl is known for its band shell. The shell is set against the backdrop of the Hollywood Hills and the famous Hollywood Sign can be seen in the background.

The “bowl” refers to the shape of the concave hillside the amphitheater is carved into, a wonderful spot to hear the LA Philharmonic Orchestra!
