If you are ever in Hollywood and you want to hit up an authentic restaurant where the “Golden Age” of Hollywood starlets would gather you must head over to Musso and Frank Grill.
Named after the starters of this joint, Frank Toulet and Joseph Musso, Musso and Frank Grill is a restaurant that is located at 6667 Hollywood Blvd. in the Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California.
This amazing little restaurant was opened in 1919 and used to be the hideout to famous Hollywood celebrities such as Scott Fitzgerald, William Faulkner, Raymond Chandler and Ernest Hemingway. Marilyn Monroe was also no stranger here!
In the 20s and 30s it wasn’t uncommon to see Greta Garbo and Gary Cooper having breakfast together, flannel cake and some fresh coffee of course, or to bump into Humphrey Bogart having drinks at the bar with Lauren Bacall.
