Many people have become aware of Julia Child thanks to the 2009 feature film named Julie & Julia
based off of the popular cooking blog called “The Julie/Julia Project”.

I have been lucky enough to know an incredibly talented chef myself (love you Susan!) who has inspired me to learn a little bit more about Julia Child and her endeavors in the world of French cuisine.

Julia Child was an American chef, author, and television personality who is recognized as introducing French cuisine to the American public with her cookbook debut called “Mastering the Art of French Cooking”.

Right around the corner from my work is Julia Child’s former home in Pasadena. This gorgeous house is located at 625 Magnolia Ave. in Pasadena, California.

I was actually lucky enough to be invited in by the workers on the house, after telling them my interest for the home and the history! However, I was short on time and didn’t believe the owners would really want a strange girl gawking at their home.

So enjoy the few photos and think about another wonderful quote by
Ms. Julia..

Life itself is the proper Benge

      1. Saved! Thanks a lot. I really been exploring Pasadena, esp. Route 66. This will be a great addition to my historical LA travel collection. đŸ˜€
